Expected football visitors for Louisville’s opener vs. Ohio

Several high school football prospects, including six players committed to the University of Louisville and well-regarded Indianapolis offensive linemen Lukayus McNeil, are among those expected to attend the Cardinals’ season opener against Ohio on Sunday at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Two junior quarterbacks with U of L offers – Reese Ryan of Lexington Catholic and Ross Trail of Olive Branch, Miss., and a four-star Ohio linebacker are among the 2015 prospects who could visit.

Here’s a rundown of the possible visitors.

**Lukayus McNeil, 2014, OT, Indianapolis Decatur Central. Has offers from U of L, Indiana, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Purdue, Michigan State, Virginia Tech and others. At 6-7 and 268 pounds, he is ranked as the nation’s No. 63 tackle and the No. 8 senior in Indiana, according to 247Sports.com

**Reggie Bonnafon, 2014, QB, Trinity High School. Committed to U of L.

**Daniel Gresham, 2014, RB, Fort Worth, Texas. Committed to U of L.

**Devin Pike, 2014, TE, Cincinnati Elder HS. Committed to U of L.

**Danny Burns, 2014, OL, Fairfield, Ohio. Committed to U of L.

**Jared McCray, 2014, OL, Minford, Ohio. Committed to U of L.

**Nilijah Ballew, 2014, Safety, Cincinnati Walnut Hills. Committed to U of L.

**Reese Ryan, 2015, QB, Lexington Catholic. Picked up a U of L offer in June after a camp. Rated four stars and the the nation’s No. 151 junior, according to Scout.com.

**Ross Trail, 2015, QB, Olive Branch, Miss. Has an early offer from U of L. Attended U of L’s Quarterback Academy camp in June.

**Reagan Williams, 2015, LB, Jackson, Ohio. A 6-foot-3, 232-pound player, Williams is rated four-stars and the nation’s No. 246 prospect by 247Sports.com. He’s the No. 8 inside linebacker, according to that site. He has offers from Ohio and Kent State.

**Darrin Kirkland, 2015, LB, Indianapolis Lawrence Central HS. Has offers from U of L, Indiana, Illinois.

**Elijah Taylor, 2015, DL, Cincinnati Moeller HS. Has offers from Michigan State, Illinois, West Virginia and the Cards’ opponent, Ohio, according to the Rivals database.
